Shuichi Shindo is passionate about everything, especially his music. His dream is to make it big in the music industry, just like his idol, Ryuichi of Nittle-Grasper.

Even though he is still in high school, Shuichi has already started up a band with his best friend Hiroshi. The band is called Bad Luck, and Shuichi has confidence in its future.

But everything changes one night after Shuichi's chance encounter with Eiri Yuki - the cool, blond stranger who casually insults his lyrics. Yuki is a cynical, bad-tempered, yet compellingly attractive man who is as guarded with his emotions as Shuichi is open about his own.
